This Shipping Policy explains how LocalShop processes, ships, and delivers orders placed on https://localshop.space (the "Site").

1. Serviceable Areas

We currently deliver across serviceable pin codes in India. Delivery availability for your address is confirmed automatically at checkout based on your pin code. If we are unable to deliver to your location, you will be notified before payment.

2. Order Processing Time

  • Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days of confirmation.
  • Orders placed on Sundays or public holidays are processed on the next business day.
  • During sale periods or high-demand days, processing may take slightly longer.

3. Delivery Timelines

  • Standard delivery typically takes 3–7 business days from dispatch, depending on your location.
  • Metro cities and serviceable urban pin codes generally receive faster delivery than remote areas.
  • Delivery timelines shown at checkout and in order confirmation are estimates and not guaranteed, as they can be affected by courier delays, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.

4. Shipping Charges

  • Free delivery is available on orders above ₹499.
  • A nominal delivery charge applies to orders below this amount, shown at checkout before payment.
  • Any applicable shipping charges are clearly displayed on the order summary before you complete your purchase.

5. Order Tracking

Once your order is shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation via email/SMS with a tracking link or tracking ID. You can also track your order anytime from My Account > Orders.

6. Multiple Shipments

If your order contains items from different categories or warehouses, it may be delivered in multiple shipments. You will not be charged extra for this, and each shipment can be tracked separately.

7. Delivery Attempts & Failed Deliveries

  • Our courier partners typically make up to 2–3 delivery attempts for each order.
  • Please ensure your address and contact number are accurate and reachable to avoid delivery delays.
  • If delivery fails after multiple attempts, the order may be returned to us, and we will contact you to arrange re-delivery or a refund, as applicable.

8. Delays

While we work with reliable courier partners, delivery may occasionally be delayed due to weather, regional disruptions, festive-season demand, or other factors outside our control. We appreciate your patience and will keep you informed of any significant delay to your order.
